Dudley launches new partnership arrangements to protect vulnerable children and adults in the borough.

The Dudley Safeguarding People Partnership Board (DSPPB) will be made up of representatives from Dudley Council, West Midlands Police, NHS and voluntary sector. It will be headed by an independent chair.

The partnership arrangements reflect legal responsibilities to comply with the Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018) statutory framework and also a shared ambition and commitment to helping the most vulnerable people in Dudley.

The new body will take over the functions of the separate existing Dudley Safeguarding Adults Board and Dudley Safeguarding Children Board.
